Gus

Gus is a 12yr old bay gelding whom I have owned for 7Years. He was used by the previous owner at the stockyards. I have used him for trail riding and improvement clinics for fun. He is about 15.1H and I am 5’2 and 68 years old. I am having difficulties getting a heavy western saddle up on his back and had the opportunity to buy myself a shorter horse. This is the only reason I’m selling him. Gus has been to 3 Clinton Anderson fundamental clinics and one trail clinic when Clinton had the farm in Stephensville, Tx. At least one clinic we did he was starting some intermediate moves. He is a farriers dream to shoe, easy to vaccinate and draw coggins, load and unload. He has been to many places to trail ride including Panther Creek in Tuscumbia, Wilsons Creek, Pea Ridge, Battlefield, and lots more. He has had Turkey and deer dart in front of him on trail rides. If he gets startled, he is one of that just stops and looks but stays put. He has never had any problems with other horses on the trails. He does like to stay with the group but can be ridden away.
